New Plot, New Path, New Volunteer!

Mike joined us today – our first volunteer on the new plot! He quickly set to clearing a path so that our Cobb Oven makers can get about more safely!

Bread Oven base constructed

We spent today moving the blocks up the hill, levelling the ground and building the base. We felt great that we were able to construct the base from re-claimed materials.

We have bought the New Plot!

We managed to scrape together enough money to buy the plot of land. We will have a lot of work to do to get it into a productive space!

4th July Salad for your Beef Burgers

We sent a lot of salad bags to DE4Food this week. Just right for Independance Day burgers or more British fare! Lovely spring onions. Rhubarb makes a delcicous crumble or Rhubarb and Orange Meringue!
