Community Supported Agriculture Network

We are about to join in with a CSA at Garden Farm and have been exploring various networks.

The CSA Network has grown out of the Soil Association’s work on reconnecting farmers and communities. Over the past year and a half, a core group of beacon CSAs and supportive organisations have been working hard to make it happen. They held various regional meetings with CSA groups to explore what support they needed, how they could help other projects and how this could be best delivered.

The new Network is an independent organisation. It is set up as a co-operative, owned and led by CSA groups according to principles laid out in our Charter.  The CSA Network was launched at national conference in Stroud in December 2013. Read more about conference here.

The Network is not only for CSA initiatives, anyone can join if they support our vision of new relationship between farmers and consumers based on mutual trust and openness.
